There was one thing that Nehemiah did before he rebuilt the walls of his city. He viewed the wall. In doing that, he gained a perspective that gave him the authority and ability to rebuild the walls. Our culture, society and the strength of the church, will define the modern day wall. Will we become watchmen that will passionately go after the presence of God so that he will establish himself? Will we cry out day and night?
